Archan Nair

Archan Nair is a Berlin-based visual artist whose work serves as a window into the interconnectedness of all things. He views creativity not as an individual act, but as an expression of universal consciousness. To him, every emotion and action is a ripple in a single, infinite ocean—a dance of the One manifesting as the many, from the microscopic to the cosmic. His work explores the realization that we are not merely observers of the universe, but the universe expressing itself through form. His art is an inquiry into the oneness of existence, where every emotion, action, and color moves seamlessly in a single, interconnected flow.

This perspective began to take shape in the early 2000s, and in 2006 Archan stepped away from a career in fashion and entrepreneurship to follow a calling toward the canvas. Originally from India, he brings the multi-dimensional soul of his heritage into his process, treating each piece as a vibration of the land's ancient sensory depth. He loves experimenting, always seeking new ways to innovate. His creative process typically begins with watercolours to create a base, then moves to digital painting, after which he prints the artwork on canvas and incorporates acrylic paints, pens, markers for line art, 3D objects, or even scraps, experimenting with traditional and digital media throughout.

His journey has unfolded into collaborations with Nike, RedBull, Canon, Infiniti, Sony, Netflix, Samsung, and Electric Forest, among many others, and his work has been shared by Vogue, GQ, and Rolling Stone. Along this journey, his path has crossed with various cultural figures, resulting in creative exchanges with Chris Brown, Lindsay Lohan, and Justine Bateman. His visual language has also been recognized by artists such as Kanye West. Archan believes that if we create from our hearts, all areas of communication and display help in one way or another, and his advice to other artists is to follow their hearts, to be absolutely original, and to explore and enjoy what they do.
