Kit Mizeres

Kit Mizeres is an American artist and illustrator with no permanent address. BFA in Illustration, Columbus College of Art and Design. Since graduating she has shown in the New Contemporary scene, including Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles and Arch Enemy Arts in Philadelphia.

Although Kit Mizeres is a recent art school graduate, one's perception may be deceived into assuming she has a lifetime of artistic experience, given the remarkable power, refinement, and maturity evident in her work. Embracing a lifestyle of wandering freedom, Mizeres remains in constant motion, amassing an array of stories and experiences that shape her life decisions and artistic pursuits. With a lifelong affinity for nature and an innate curiosity coupled with compassion, it is unsurprising that her artwork conveys concerns about human dominance over the animal world. Mizeres weaves these themes into her surrealist style, also exploring personal mythology and her inner conflicts.
