Leonard Koscianski is an American painter of an eerie, charged vision. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he studied with Wayne Thiebaud and with R. Buckminster Fuller. Bachelor's from the Cleveland Institute of Art; Master's from the University of California, Davis.

Throughout his distinguished career, he has exhibited his much-acclaimed artwork extensively across the United States and Europe. He is represented by the O.K. Harris Gallery in New York and the Carl Hammer Gallery in Chicago. His paintings belong to numerous prestigious public collections, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and The Chicago Art Institute. His work has been featured prominently in leading publications such as the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, ArtNews, Art in America, and ArtForum.

Beyond his studio practice, Koscianski is a popular professor and speaker. His achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including the National Endowment for the Arts' Individual Artist Fellowship and the Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Fellowship. He currently lives and works in Annapolis, Maryland.
